What is an Australian Cavoodle

An Australian Cavoodle is the combination of an Australian Labradoodle (a cross of Lab, Poodle, and Spaniel) and either a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel or a Cavoodle (AKA a Cavapoo).

It is important to note that there is absolutely no Australian Shepherd (Aussie) in this cross. The “Australian” in their name comes from the Australian Labradoodle which originated in Australia, giving it it’s name.

Are Australian Cavoodles Easy Train?

They are very smart and eager to please. No surprise there, just look at their parent breeds! Basic training, using positive reinforcement methods, should begin as soon as you bring your Australian Cavoodle puppy home.

How Much Exercise Do Australian Cavoodles Need?

Our Australian Cavoodles are playful and somewhat energetic at times, but do not require an excessive amount of exercise. Most are able to get their exercise playing in the house/yard and/or going for a walk. It is important to remember that not all Australian Cavoodles are the same and some may enjoy more or less exercise to keep them happy and healthy!

Australian Cavoodle Temperament

Australian Cavoodles are loving, happy go lucky, and are generally a “go with the flow” type of breed! Their size, personality, and activity level makes them adaptable to most lifestyles and homes. They tend to be velcro dogs so it is important to note that they do best when they are not left alone for extended periods of time. Australian Cavoodles are gentle and sweet natured making them great family pets.

Why Choose an Australian Cavoodle?

Australian Cavoodles are a relatively new breed, and we believe we are one of the first few breeders who intentionally chose to combine these breeds. Our Australian Cavoodles are smart, playful family friendly dogs. Like their parent breeds, they thrive with human attention and typically get along well with other pets. Like our Cavapoos they stay on the smaller side and are easy to travel with.

How Much Do Australian Cavoodles Cost?

Our Australian Cavoodle puppies range from $1,500 to $2,000.

How Big Do Australian Cavoodles Get?

Our Australian Cavoodles will range from 10-25lbs with the most common weight range being between 15-25lbs.
