Doodle Puppy Training in Kansas
We receive lots of requests for “started” or “trained” puppies and we are so excited to finally be able offer a few different training level options.
Once enrolled, training will begin at 8 weeks (unless your puppy is older) and continue through the duration of training level you selected. All training will take place in our trainer’s home in Manhattan, KS.
Please be aware that when your puppy goes home he/she will still require a good amount of attention and continued training to establish a routine at home.

LEVEL 1
In this course we are working on the basic foundation and introduction to these skills to give your puppy a head start before he/she goes home! This level is beneficial for those that aren’t able to pick up their puppy right at 8 weeks or for anyone wanting a little head start on the basics.
DURATION: 1 week
COST: $250
OBJECTIVES
Introduction to crate training
Introduction to potty training
Introduction to getting used to wearing a collar
Learn their name
Continued socialization
Lifetime trainer support via call/text
LEVEL 2
In this course, your puppy will receive ongoing reinforcement of everything from level 1 and will also be introduced to new cues/skills.
DURATION: 2 weeks
COST: $500
OBJECTIVES:
Continued potty training
Continued crate training - your puppy should be able to sleep in their kennel 5-6 hours with minimal accidents)
Introduction to leash
Name recognition - your puppy will know their name
Foundation for basic commands - “sit”, “down”, “come”, “spin”, “touch”, “leave it”
Continued grooming manners - bath, blow dry, nail trim
Intro into riding nicely in vehicle
Continued socialization with other dogs in our trainer’s home
Exposure to new people & places
Lifetime trainer support via call/text
LEVEL 3
DURATION: 4 weeks
COST: $1,500
OBJECTIVES:
Continued potty training
Puppy should sleep 7-8 hours in a crate with no accidents
Name recognition
Puppy should be able to walk on loose leash without pulling
Wait at the door/crate
Learning to greet people calmly
Commands: “sit”, “down”, “come”, “crate”, “touch”, “leave it”, “stay” and “off”/”leave it”
Continued grooming manners - bath, blow dry, nail trims (clippers and dremel)
Ride nicely in a vehicle
Socialization in public places (keeping all 4 off the floor) & continued confidence building in new environments/situations
Lifetime trainer support via call/text
LEVEL 4
In this course, your puppy will receive ongoing reinforcement of everything from level 1 and will also be introduced to new cues/skills.
DURATION: 6 weeks
COST: $2,500
OBJECTIVES:
Continued potty training
Continued crate training - your puppy should be able to sleep in their kennel 8 hours with minimal accidents
Continued leash work
Commands: “sit”, “down”, “come”, “crate”, “touch”, “stay” and “off”/”leave it”, “drop it”
Continued grooming manners - bath, blow dry, nail trim
Ride nicely in the vehicle
Socialization in public places
Socialization in public places (keeping all 4 off the floor) & continued confidence building in new environments/situations
Greet people calmly
Wait at the door/crate
More work on impulse control

Please Note: Puppies are not fully potty trained until around 5-6 months of age. We understand that getting a new puppy can be stressful in the beginning, so we will work to give your puppy the best possible start and lay the foundation for the skills listed. However, it will be up to you to maintain his/her training to ensure that they retain what is learned here with us.
